Dec. 15, 2021 D10 Boys/Girls Hoops: Eisenhower Boys Hold off Sheffield; Cochranton Powers Past Titusville

RUSSELL, Pa. – Wyatt Lookenhouse scored 19 points as Eisenhower held off Sheffield, 59-56.

Sheffield’s Lucas McNeal had a shot to tie the game at the buzzer, but it bounced off the back of the rim.

Sheffield twice cut the lead to one in the final minute, but Eisenhower’s Takhari Warren and Kael Hunt went 4-of-4 from the free-throw line to help the Knights preserve the lead and get the win.

Tony Richards had a big game for Sheffield, scoring a game-high 22 points, while Connor Finch had 15 and McNeal 11.

Curt Darling finished with 15 points for Eisenhower and Kyler Black 11.

COCHRANTON 58, TITUSVILLE 45

                          

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Chase Miller scored 18 points as Cochranton beat Titusville, 58-45.

The Cardinals, who built a 31-21 halftime lead en route to the win, also got 11 points each from Landon Homa and Wyatt Barzak.

Manny Perez scored 14 points for Titusville, while Isaiah Colon added 10.

KENNEDY CATHOLIC 81, REYNOLDS 29

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Elijah Harden scored 30 points as Kennedy Catholic powered past Reynolds for its first win of the season, 81-29.

Malik Lampkins-Rudolph added 14 points for the Golden Eagles, while Gio Magestro chipped in with nine.

The Golden Eagles scored 50 points in the first half en route to the win.

Haden Obenrader had eight points to lead Reynolds.

FORT LEBOEUF 57, ERIE FIRST CHRISTIAN 49

WATERFORD, Pa. – Dom Gentile led a balanced effort with 14 points as Fort LeBoeuf outlasted Erie First Chrisitan, 57-49.

                                   

Carson Papay and Hunter Villa were also in double figures with 12 and 10 points respectively.

Anthony Collins led EFC with 16 points.

GIRLS

NORTHWESTERN 39, YOUNGSVILLE 24

ALBION, Pa. – Taylor Stagl scored 16 points as Northwestern earned a 39-24 win over Youngsville.

The Wildcats built a 15-point halftime lead on their way to the win.

Brooke Miller added eight points for Northwestern.

Kenzie Olewine paced Youngsville with 11 points.

GREENVILLE 63, SAEGERTOWN 42

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Anna Harpst poured in 20 points as Greenville topped Saegertown, 63-42.

Harpst knocked down four threes in the win.

Josie Lewis and Grace Cano were also in double figures for the Trojans with 17 and 15 points respectively.

Averie Braymer had 13 points for Saegertown.

MERCYHURST PREP 57, HARBOR CREEK 36

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Olivia Kulyk led four Mercyhurst Prep players in double figures with 17 points in a 57-36 win over Harbor Creek.

                                  

Lillirose Lang and Joce Ollinger scored 11 points each for the Lakers and Anna Tranum chipped in with 10.

Mercyhurst led by nine at halftime.

Brooke Przybylski had 14 points for Harbor Creek.

GENERAL MCLANE 63, TITUSVILLE 14

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Avery VanDyke and Payton Massey scored 10 points each as General McLane beat Titusville 63-14.

Bella Dibble added nine points for GM, which built a 30-point halftime lead en route to the win.

Isabella Sutley had nine points for Titusville.
