The fan voice has been heard, and DuBois Central Catholic dominating its way to the PIAA Class 1A baseball title is the fan’s choice for the top moment in District 9 and District 10 during the 2021-22 school year.
The Cardinals run to their first title since 2001 received 42% of the vote or 8,844 of the 19,670 votes.
Coming in at No. 2 was another state champion runs – the Clearfield softball team winning the 4A title – which received 32% of the vote or 6,671 votes.
Reynolds wrestling winning its 900th match combined with HIckory claiming the D10 wrestling title was third with 10% of the vote or 2,176 votes.
Rounding out the top five were a pair of Redbank Valley accomplishments with Redbank Valley’s stunning PIAA semifinal football win over Bishop Canevin coming in fourth with 4% of the vote and Redbank Valley freshman Mylee Harmon’s historic freshman season picking up 3% of the vote to finish fifth.
