D10 Sets Sites, Times for Basketball Semifinals; Subregional Locations Also Announced

SHARON, Pa. – The times and locations have been set for the District 10 boys and girls basketball semifinals.

The boys games, all on Tuesday, will feature four doubleheaders, with each classification at the same site.

In Class 4A, No. 2 Grove City will take on No. 3 Harbor Creek at PennWest Edinboro at 6:30 p.m., followed by No. 1 Warren vs. No. 4 Hickory at 8.

In Class 3A, No. 3 Oil City takes on No. 7 Seneca at Slippery Rock University at 6 p.m., followed by No. 1 Franklin against No. 4 Fairview at 7:30.

                                      

In Class 2A, No. 1 Mercer battles No. 4 Eisenhower at Meadville High School at 6 p.m., followed by No. 2 Cambridge Springs against No. 3 Erie First Christian at 7:30.

And in Class 1A, No. 2 Kennedy Catholic will play No. 3 Jamestown at Westminster College at 6 p.m., which will be followed by No. 1 Farrell vs. No. 4 Rocky Grove at 7:30.

The Erie boys, meanwhile, will host Allderdice in a PIAA Class 6A subregional at 6 p.m.

The girls’ field will see doubleheaders at Sharon High School, Meadville High School, and the Hagerty Center, and standalone games at Fairview High School at Allderdice, all on Wednesday.

At Sharon, the No. 1 seed in Class 2A, Kennedy Catholic, takes on No. 4 Lakeview at 6 p.m., followed by the Class 3A semifinal between No. 2 Wilmington and No. 3 Greenville at 7:30

                          

At Meadville, Class 4A top seed Fairview plays No. 4 Conneaut at 6 p.m., followed by the Class 2A semifinal between No. 2 Maplewood at No. 3 Cambridge Springs at 7:30.

At Hagerty, the Cathedral Prep girls host DuBois in a Class 5A subregional, followed by the Class 4A semifinal game between No. 2 Harbor Creek and No. 3 Warren at 7:30.

In Class 3A, top seed Mercyhurst Prep will play No. 5 Sharpsville at 7 p.m., while D10 Class 6A champion McDowell travels to Allderdice for a subregional game at 6 p.m.
