CLEARFIELD, Pa. – The Clearfield Area Rotary Club honored longtime Clearfield Area High School baseball coach and retired teacher Sid Lansberry with its Citizen of the Year award on Wednesday, June 28.

Lansberry, who has been the head baseball coach at Clearfield since 1972, won his 650th career game this past season.
Rotarian Jim Moyer presented Lansberry with a plaque and paid tribute to him during their meeting on Friday.
Lansberry’s first victory was on April 10th, 1972.
