Cambridge Springs Girls Outlast Cranberry in Double Overtime; Oswayo Valley Gets First Win Over O-E Since 2008

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Sydney Zilhaver scored 21 of her 23 points in the second half and overtime as Cambridge Springs outlasted Cranberry, 51-45 in double overtime.

Trailing 15-11 at halftime, Cambridge Springs went on a 19-11 run in the third quarter to take a 30-26 lead, thanks to 13 points from Zilhaver.

Cranberry responded with a 12-8 run in the fourth quarter to force overtime, as Raegan Antrilli and Emma Morrow scored four points each to tie the game at 38-all

The game was tied 41-all at the end of the first overtime before Cambridge Springs outscored Cranberry 10-3 in the second overtime.

                                      

Brooke Eldred scored five of her seven points in the second overtime, while Zilhaver added four more points. Zilhaver also had nine rebounds in the win.

Payton Leandro added five points in the win for Cambridge Springs, including four points in the fourth quarter.

Avery Coe had 17 points for Cranberry, nine of which came in the first half.

OSWAYO VALLEY 37, OTTO-ELDRED 27

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Makenna Manning had 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists to help Oswayo Valley break a 30-game losing streak to visiting Otto-Eldred, 37-27, in NTL action.

                          

The win was the Green Wave’s first over the Lady Terrors since a 46-44 victory on Dec. 20, 2008.

Charlotte Austin Keech added 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists in the win with Layken Entry chipping in six points and Eva West two points and six rebounds.

Ayla Van Scotter had 10 points for Otto-Eldred, who led 14-12 at halftime before being outscored 15-4 in the third quarter.

AUSTIN 45, CAMERON COUNTY 35

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Ella Brewer had 12 points, six rebounds, and five steals to lead Austin to a 45-35 win at Cameron County in NTL action.

Savanna Horton added 11 points for the Panthers with Lilly Clinger chipping in eight points, six rebounds, and five steals, and Isabella Rees contributing seven points, seven assists, six rebounds, and five steals.

Ava Hilfiger led Cameron County with 10 points with Elsie Bresslin adding eight points, Navaeh Spaeth chipping in seven points, and Trinity Early picking up six points and seven rebounds.

SENECA 44, COCHRANTON 36

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Haylee Farrell and Emma Bleil scored 11 points each as Seneca beat Cochranton, 44-36.

Trailing 18-16 at halftime, Seneca went on an 18-8 run in the third quarter to take a 34-26 lead.

                                   

Lexi Kibbe added eight points for Seneca.

Shelby McBryar led Cochranton with 14 points.

HICKORY 37, FARRELL 26

FARRELL, Pa. – Kimora Roberts led Hickory with 12 points in a 37-26 win over Farrell.

The Hornets built a 20-8 halftime lead en route to the win.

Mariah Swanson was also in double figures for Hickory with 11 points.

Damerra Thomas led Farrell with 12 points, while Martese Beamon added eight points.

GREENVILLE 53, MEADVILLE 29

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Josie Hart scored 12 points as Greenville earned a 53-29 win over Meadville.

Sidney Hart had nine points for Greenville, while Lily Chapman added eight. Nine different Trojans scored in the win.

Meg Puelo had 20 points for Meadville.

NORTHERN POTTER 43, SMETHPORT 21

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Haylee Chapman led a balanced effort with nine points to lead Northern Potter to a 43-21 win at Smethport in NTL action.

Reagan Slawson also had nine points, five rebounds, and four steals for the Lady Panthers, and Taylor Knowles had seven points.

Elizabeth Hungiville had eight points and 12 rebounds for Smethport.

                                  

KARNS CITY 45, DUBOIS 17

DUBOIS, Pa. – Brooklynn Taylor netted 15 points to help Karns City to a 45-17 road win over DuBois.

Chloe Fritch added 10 points for the Lady Gremlins.

Lynx Lander paced DuBois with eight points.

WILLIAMSBURG 85, CURWENSVILLE 19

WILLIAMSBURG, Pa. – Leanna Royer had 20 points to lead Williamsburg to an 85-19 win over visiting Curwensville in ICC North play.

Levada Gorsuch added 16 points for the Blue Pirates with Laney Prough and Anastasia Ranalli each chipping in 14 points.
