Base: Harbor Creek Edges GM; Stout Fires 5-Inning No-Hitter for Northwestern Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

EDINBORO, Pa. – Harbor Creek scored four runs in the second inning in a 5-3 win over General McLane.

Gio Barbato and Jake Rzodkiewicz drove in one run each for the Huskies, while Jason Dolak and Tyler Burick had two hits each and Parker Irwin scored two runs.

Preston Lanagan got the win, allowing one unearned run in 2 ⅓ innings, striking out one and walking two.

Andrew Gula and Jackson Kiser drove in one run each for GM. Kellen Chelton took the loss, allowing four runs in three innings.

NORTHWESTERN 12, EISENHOWER 0, 5 innings

                  

ERIE, Pa. – Garrett Hutchison and Garrett Eddy both homered and Kaden Stout fired a 5-inning no-hitter as Northwestern beat Eisenhower, 12-2 in five innings.

Both Hutchison and Eddy drove in four runs each, while Joe Schaukowitsch was 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Stout struck out 11 and walked one.

MCDOWELL 2, WARREN 0

ERIE, Pa. – Evan Stranko fired a 1-hitter to lead McDowell to a 2-0 win over Warren.

                          

Stranko struck out 10 and walked two, throwing 71 of his 96 pitches for strikes.

Stranko and Nick Hamilton drove in runs in the third and fifth innings for McDowell.

Eric Dippold allowed one run in four innings for Warren on three hits, striking out six.

ST. IGNATIUS (OHIO) 7, CATHEDRAL PREP 2

CLEVELAND – Stan Musbach was 2-for-4 with three RBIs as St. Ignatius (Ohio) handed Cathedral Prep just its second loss of the season, 7-2.

               

St. Ignatius outhit the Ramblers, 11-4. Xander Gendics got the complete game win, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out six and walking two.

Andrew Costello hit a 2-run home run for Prep.

ERIE 16, IROQUOIS 6, 6 innings

ERIE, Pa. – Chase Benedict drove in four runs and Erie scored seven runs in the fifth inning in a 16-6, 6-inning win over Iroquois.

RJ Hawkins was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Erie, while Mason Kindle was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs.

Kindle got the win, allowing four earned runs in four innings on seven hits, striking out four.

Cole Bennett was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs for Iroquois.

FORT LEBOEUF 7, GIRARD 6

WATERFORD, Pa. – Brody Myers was 2-for-3 with three RBIs as Fort LeBoeuf edged Girard, 7-6.

            

Matt Herr was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the win for LeBoeuf. Myers got the win, allowing one run on three hits in four innings, striking out six.

Tyler Gilmore drove in a pair of runs for Girard, while Zach Kelley was 3-for-4 with two runs, Zak Balogh 2-for-4 with an RBI and James Kibbe 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Kelley took the loss, allowing seven runs (two earned) in 4 ⅓ innings.

GREENVILLE 6, SHARON 4

SHARON, Pa. – Brandon Stuberg was 2-for-3 with three RBIs to help Greenville to a 6-4 win over Sharon.

Soren Hedderick and Jackson Leskovac were also 1-for-3 with an RBI each for Greenville.

Hedderick pitched two shutout innings on one hit, striking out one.

Owen Schenker was 2-for-2 with three RBIs for Sharon. Derek Douglas allowed five runs (four earned) in two innings.

WILMINGTON 12, REYNOLDS 2, 5 innings

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Hunter Jones drove in four runs and Tyler Miklun homered as Wilmington beat Reynolds, 12-2 in five innings.

Mikulin was 3-for-3 and scored four runs, while Chase Mitcheltree was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Rocky Serafino got the win, allowing one hit in three shutout innings, striking out four and walking one.

John McCurdy was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Reynolds.

CLARION 4, OIL CITY 1, 5 INNINGS (RAIN)

PAINT TWP. Pa. – In a game called after the top of the fifth because of rain, Clarion beat Oil City, 4-1.

Daunte Girvan got the win going four innings allowing one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out five.

Dawson Smail picked up the save going a scoreless inning allowing a walk while striking out two.

Derek Smail hit a monster home run for the Bobcats and was 1-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI.

Tanner Miller added a double while going 1-for-2 with a run scored, and Dawson Smail was 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs scored.

Zach Love took the loss going four innings allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits and a walk while striking out two.

Conner Lockhart was 1-for-2 with an RBI for the Oilers with Jacob Teeter going 1-for-2 with a run scored.
