Base: Grand Slams Power CASH, GM to Wins; Sharon Belts Five Homers in Victory over GC Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Greg Klink hit a first-inning grand slam and drove in six runs for the game as Conneaut beat Titusville, 11-0 in six innings.

Chase Stewart was 2-for-2 with four RBIs for the Eagles, while Alex Wipula had three hits and scored three runs.

Wyatt Cornman tossed 3 ⅓ shutout innings to get the win, allowing two hits, striking out four and walking one.

Mason Titus took the loss, allowing six runs in two innings.

GENERAL MCLANE 10, CORRY 2

                  

CORRY, Pa. – Kellen Chelton hit a grand slam in the seventh inning and drove in six runs as General McLane beat Corry, 10-2.

Charlie Swanson was 4-for-4 with four runs for the Lancers, while Jackson Kiser was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Kiser got the win, going 5 ⅔ innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking four.

Wesley Kurelowech had a hit and an RBI for Corry. Kamdyn Moon took the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) in six innings on 12 hits, striking out two and walking one.

SHARON 15, GROVE CITY 8

                          

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Sharon belted five home runs, including two from Tino Piccirilli in a 15-8 win over Grove City.

Hayden Scarmack, Angelo Fromm and Chandler Maurice also went deep for the Tigers.

Fromm drove in four runs, Piccirilli three, Scarmack three and Owen Schenker two.

Mark Cattron got the win, allowing six runs (four earned) in five innings, scattering nine hits and striking out seven.

Kam Martin was 1-for-4 with three RBIs for Grove City, while Ethan Orr drove in a pair of runs for the Eagles and Will Schell had three hits and an RBI.

               

Orr took the loss, allowing six runs in 3 ⅔ innings on five hits, striking out four.

OIL CITY 7, FRANKLIN 6

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Franklin scored four runs in the fourth inning and held off a late Franklin charge to win, 7-6.

Franklin cut the lead to one in the seventh, 7-6 on a solo home run from Ty Prince and a sacrifice fly from Nate Fezell, by Oil City pitcher Charlie Motter was able to get a strikeout to end the game.

Jacob Teeter and Braylon Barber drove in two runs each for Oil City, while Wil McMahon was 1-for-3 with an RBI,Motter 2-for-3 with two runs.

Teeter got the win, going five innings and allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking two.

Alex Wible homered and drove in three runs for Franklin.

Ethan Nightingale took the loss, allowing six runs in three innings on seven hits, striking out six.

NORTHWESTERN 6, FAIRVIEW 0

            

ALBION, Pa. – Tyler Benford and Aari Fox combined on a 3-hitter as Fairview blanked Northwestern, 6-0.

Benford went five innings and allowed two hits while striking out seven, while Fox went two innings and allowed one hit, struck out two and walked one.

Luke Rzodkiewicz drove in two runs for the Tigers, while Caleb Szklenski also had an RBI.

Kaden Stout took the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) in one inning of work.

YOUNGSVILLE 15, IROQUOIS 5, 6 innings

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Matt DeSimone had two doubles, a triple and drove in three runs as Youngsville beat Iroquois, 15-5 in six innings.

The Eagles scored 12 runs over the first three innings. Wyatt Dalrymple was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while Talon Mesel was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Nate Lucks 2-for-4 with two runs, David Manning 1-for-4 with two RBIs and Ethan Beers 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs.

Manning went three innings and allowed two unearned runs on three hits, striking out four.

Hunter Alderson had a hit and an RBI for Iroquois. Reilly Brown allowed 12 runs (nine earned) in three innings.

FORT LEBOEUF 6, WARREN 2

WATERFORD, Pa. – Fort LeBoeuf scored four runs in the first inning of a 6-2 win over Warren.

Jacob Bruzda drove in a pair of runs for the Bison, while Kadin Dombkowski had two hits and an RBI.

Brody Myers got the win, allowing two runs (one earned) in five innings on four hits, striking out four and walking three.

Aidan Zdarko had three hits for Warren, while Brady Berdine drove in a run.

Berdine took the loss, allowing six runs (three earned) in four innings on four hits, striking out seven and walking two.

HARBOR CREEK 9, NORTH EAST 2

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Harbor Creek scored all nine of its runs in the first inning in a 9-2 win over North East.

Jake Rzodkiewicz, Caden Folmar and Parker Irwin drove in two runs apiece for the Huskies, while Tyler Burick had a hit and scored two runs.

Heath Betza got the win, allowing two runs on seven hits in five innings, striking out nine.

Jerek Turlij doubled and drove in two runs for North East. Cody Triana tossed 5 ⅔ scoreless innings of relief for North East, allowing just three hits and striking out three.

SAEGERTOWN 12, UNION CITY 2, 5 innings

UNION CITY, Pa. – Blake Burchill had three hits (two doubles) and three RBIs as Saegertown picked up its ninth win, 12-2 in five innings over Union City.

Everett Gardner was 3-for-4 with two runs for the Panthers, while Wyatt Burchill was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs, William Shaffer 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Luke Young 1-for-3 with two RBIs, DaMarcus Manning 2-for-4 and Levi Gardner 1-for-2 with two RBIs.

Blake Burchill also got the win, allowing two unearned runs in five innings on four hits, striking out four without issuing a walk.

Luke Wright had two hits (including a double) and scored two runs for Union City, while Aidan Shuman and Ian Kinney drove in one run each.

Daithan Kent took the loss, allowing three runs in 1 ⅔ innings on five hits.

WILMINGTON 15, JAMESTOWN 5, 5 innings

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Rocky Serafino tripled, had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored as Wilmington beat Jamestown, 15-5 in five innings.

Chase Mitcheltree was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs and two walks for the Greyhounds, while Ben Miller had two hits and scored three runs and Shane Book was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

Owen Bauer got the win, tossing four shutout innings and allowing one hit while striking out two and walking none.

Nolan Herbold had a pair of RBIs for Jamestown.

Cole Ternant took the loss, allowing 10 runs in 2 ⅔ innings.

SHARPSVILLE 20, WEST MIDDLESEX 9, 6 innings

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. – Sharpsville scored 20 runs on 11 hits, taking advantage of six errors and 11 walks by WestMiddlesex in a 20-9, 6-inning win.

Carter Dejulia and Gabe Titus both homered for Sharpsville, part of a monster day for Titus, who finished 4-for-5 with six RBIs. Dalton Byerly was 3-for-4 with four RBIS for the Blue Devils, while Dejulia drove in three runs.

Dejulia tossed a scoreless inning of relief to get the win.

Tyler Blanton drove in three runs for West Middlesex, while Caleb Koncar and Logan Kent had two RBIs each.

MCDOWELL 12, MEADVILLE 2, 5 innings

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Five different McDowell players had two RBIs each in a 12-2, 5-inning win over Meadville.

Connor Cross, Evan Stranko, Nick Hamilton, Carter Swanson and Nick Chludzinski had two runs batted in each for the Trojans, who scored six runs in the second inning and four in the fifth.

Hamilton got the win, going 4 ⅔ innings and allowing two runs on four hits, striking out nine and walking three.

Brighton Anderson belted a solo home run for Meadville.

Rhoan Woodrow took the loss, allowing seven runs (three earned) in two innings on three hits, striking out one and walking two.

EISENHOWER 8, COCHRANTON 4

RUSSELL, Pa. – Eisenhower got the bats going early and took advantage of five errors to pick up its first win of the season, 8-4, over Cochranton.

The Knights scored three runs in each of the first and second innings, then tacked on two more in the fourth. The Cardinals tried to rally late, scoring four runs in the sixth, but were set down in order in the seventh.

Isaiah Long had three hits, scored once, and drove in a run for Cochranton. Ben Field had two hits and an RBI.

Coleton Mattocks took the loss allowing six runs, four earned, on seven hits with a walk and two strikeouts in two innings. Field gave up two unearned runs on two hits with a strikeout in four innings.

Jarius Casey and Mason Degnan each had two RBI for the Knights. Johnny Palmieri, Cole Kellogg, and Caleb Jakubczak each had two hits. Kellogg and Jakubczak each scored twice, while Palmieri scored once and drove in a run.

Jakubczak picked up the win allowing two earned runs on three hits with four walks and three strikeouts in five innings. Derek Childs gave up two earned runs on three hits with two walks and four strikeouts in two innings.
