Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I started playing sports with my dad in my yard as a very young child. We would play a bunch of different sports like baseball, hockey, and soccer. I also grew up in a sports loving family.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: One of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had playing baseball was winning the D9 Championship Game this year (Class 3A). It was an amazing feeling knowing I helped my team win another D9 championship with a great group of guys as my teammates.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: I would love to attend the College Baseball World Series in Omaha. The atmosphere at this event is unbelievable and the amount of talent all in one place at the same time is incredible.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: The teacher who has the most impact on me in school was my high school coach, Mr. Dickey. Coach Dickey has taught me so much over these past few months, not just about baseball but also about life. He has taught me that if you work and are determined on a goal, anything is possible.

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: During the high school season, I never put my jersey on until after we do our pregame warmups. I always do my warmups and hit BP in my pullover jacket without my jersey on.

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: I would go to Nashville, Tennessee and visit all of the landmarks. Nashville is my favorite city I’ve ever been to and the food there is so good. I would go to all of the restaurants and eat a ton of food.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: I would go back in time to my first year of travel baseball just to relive the memories. My 13U year of travel ball was my favorite year of baseball. I met all of my friends and made some amazing memories with all of them.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: No.
