Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I’ve played sports since a very young age. I played t-ball, rec soccer, and cheer as soon as I was old enough.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: Hitting home runs and making double plays/extra plays always gives me a rush of adrenaline. It is such a good feeling accomplishing these and knowing my hard work has paid off.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: The WCWS or the Super Bowl. I love softball and I love watching football.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: Mr. Radaker and Mr. Pfingstler. Mr. Radaker is an assistant coach for softball and helps me in and out of school. Mr. Pfingstler is my basketball coach and continuously encourages me throughout the year.

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: Every superstition in the books. Crossed bats, the order I put on equipment, game-day hairstyles, the number of swings before an at bat, meditating/manifesting before games, the list goes on.

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: Travel the world and visit the Caribbean beaches. I love the beach.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: The 80s and 90s. I love the culture and music of these decades. I would’ve loved to see a rock band or an alternative band during these time periods.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: I wish you would have asked what it is like being an athlete in a smaller school. My answer would be: You have to work extra hard and work even more on your own time. The more practice you get in, the more successful you’ll be. Your big successes in a smaller school will help get your name out there.
