Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I got involved with playing sports when I was really little, about 5 or 6. I started with soccer and t-ball and fell in love with athletics and having a team.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: The most enjoyable thing to have happened to me on an athletic field would have to be playing with my sister, Molly this year for school ball. She played shortstop while I played third base and it was awesome to be able to look over my shoulder and see her.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: I would go to the reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg from July 1-3. I really enjoy learning about history and especially Gettysburg with my grandparents and I think it would be really special to see the battle play out like it would have in 1863.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: My math teacher Mr. Greg Snelick made the most impact on me throughout my high school career. He always was willing to help me whenever I needed it, made me laugh whenever I was feeling down, and always believed in me.

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: My superstition is that I always have to do my hair the same way as long as our winning streaks go. For example, if we win a game and my hair is braided, then I have to continue braiding my hair the same way until we lose a game, then I would find another hairstyle.

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: I would travel to Greece and see all of the ancient sites like the
Acropolis and the Parthenon Temple.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: If I could go back in time, I would go to Gettysburg on November 19, 1863, and listen to Abraham Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address. I would choose to do this because I believe this speech is one of the most powerful speeches in history and it helped people of that time period understand the sacrifice thousands of men gave for their beliefs.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: Nope.
