Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I’ve played softball since I was six. I’d have to say that it was my parents who first got me involved in sports in general. I tried several different sports – soccer, karate, competition twirl, dance, and basketball – but softball was and is my favorite.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: Last year my travel team, Central Pa Wolfpack 14u White, placed third out of 80-plus teams in the USSSA Eastern Nationals tournament in Salisbury, Maryland. We competed against some stiff competition. Our team bonded and played well together. I threw a no hitter against a top ranked team from Virginia.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: I’d like to go to a Lana Del Ray concert in Dubai because I’m really into her music right now.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: My seventh-grade math teacher, Mr. Briskar, had a great impact on me. To be honest, I hate math, but he was able to make it more interesting and relatable. He knew I wasn’t into math, but he went out of his way to help me understand the concepts. It also didn’t hurt that we talked softball a lot too!

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: I don’t have any superstitions, but it seems like everyone else around me does!

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: I would take 2-3 close friends to NYC for a day of shopping (especially of cost isn’t a factor), good food, and a concert.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: I would like to see Elvis perform live.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: No.
