Soft: Harbor Creek, LeBoeuf, Franklin, Sharon Get Big Wins Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

HARBORCREEK, Pa. Brooke Przybylski was 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs as Harbor Creek blanked Girard, 14-0 in five innings.

The Huskies scored nine runs in the first inning, as Maggie Konieczki had two hits, two RBIs and two runs, Brooklynn Cipalla was 4-for-4 with an RBI and Hannah Smith was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Talon King allowed just one hit in five innings, striking out nine without issuing a walk.

FORT LEBOEUF 14, SENECA 3, 5 innings

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Fort LeBoeuf scored in every inning, including seven runs in the fifth of a 14-3, 5-inning win over Seneca.

                  

Kendra Tobin had two hits, drove in four and scored three times for the Bison, while Londyn Davis had two hits and three RBIs and Ryan Shields two hits and two RBis.

Kiernan Skelton got the win, giving up one earned run in five innings on five hits, striking out six and walking two.

Alara Bem had an RBI for Seneca. Bem also took the loss, allowing eight earned runs in five innings on 12 hits, striking out two and walking five.

FRANKLIN 20, OIL CITY 2, 4 innings

OIL CITY, Pa. – Kiersten Hicks had four RBIs and Abigail Boland homered and had three RBIs in Franklin’s 20-2, four-inning win over Oil City.

                          

Jersey Swartz had two hits and three RBIs for Franklin, while Jillian Ewing had three hits and scored four runs and Rilee Hanna had three RBIs and scored three runs.

Swartz got the win, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out four.

Nyssa Hanlon had an RBI for Oil City, while Peyton Liederbach tripled.

SHARON 10, ERIE 0, 5 innings

SHARON, Pa. – Maddy Vogan hit a 2-run homer and Claire Bodien pitched four strong innings as Sharon beat Erie, 10-0 in five innings.

               

Bodien struck out seven and allowed one hit, with Mya Bundrant also tossing a shutout innings, striking out the side.

Kurtasia Chester had two hits, an RBI and scored three runs, while Lacey Root had a single and two RBIs and Chloe Pagliarini a single and two RBIs.

Kreana McCloud took the loss, allowing eight earned runs in 4 ⅓ innings on six hits, walking nine and striking out one.

FAIRVIEW 12, UNION CITY 2, 5 innings

UNION CITY, Pa. – Fairview scored eight runs in the first inning in a 12-2, 5-inning win over Union City.

Jocelyn Terella had a huge game, going 4-for-4 with a double, home run and six RBIs for the Tigers, while Jenna Szklenski and Ellery Nornhold had two hits and an RBI each.

Carissa Worline got the win, allowing one earned run in five innings on five hits, striking out one.

Danica Williamson was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Union City. Abby Tingleytook the loss, allowing eight runs (four earned) in 4 ⅓ innings.

NORTHWESTERN 15, NORTH EAST 5, 6 innings

            

ALBION, Pa. – Aaliyah Peckham had two hits and drove in four runs as Northwestern beat North East, 15-5 in six innings.

Northwestern had 23 hits in the game, as Ayla Ruland was 4-for-4 with two RBIs, Zaya Rastetter and Jessica Gage had three hits and two RBIs each and Nevaeh Kelley had three hits and one RBI.

Zoey Johnson got the win, allowing five runs in six innings on eight hits, striking out seven and walking six.

Alaina Rodemoyer had two hits and drove in four runs for North East.

JAMESTOWN 14, EISENHOWER 0, 5 innings

RUSSELL, Pa. – Jamestown scored eight runs in the first inning on its way to a 14-0, 5-inning win over Eisenhower.

Madilyn Enterline, Miranda Biles, Alayna Cadman and Emily Enterline had two RBIs each in the win for the Muskies.

Biles allowed just three hits in five innings, striking out 11 and walking one.

Morgan Zaffino had two hits for Eisenhower. Samantha Childs took the loss, allowing 14 runs in four innings, striking out one.

KANE 16, YOUNGSVILLE 10

KANE, Pa. – Leah Tigani went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, four runs scored, and three RBIs to lead Kane to a 16-10 win over visiting Youngsville.

Maya Smith also scored four runs for the Lady Wolves while going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Olivia Bell hit a home run and was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs.

Elizabeth Yasurek added an inside-the-park home run and was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs, and Kylie Iak was 1-for-2 with three runs scored. Cadence Carlson-Murphy also went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored, and two RBIs.

Tigani was the winning pitcher going four innings of scoreless ball. She walked three and hit a batter while striking out four.

Madison Carnahan was 2-for-5 with a double, triple, two runs scored, and two RBIs for Youngsville while Molly Helman went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs.

Kamden Swearingen took the loss going six innings allowing 16 runs on 16 hits, a walk, and a hit batter while striking out three.

ROCKY GROVE 12, A-C VALLEY/UNION 1, 5 INNINGS

WEST FREEDOM, Pa. – RaeLynn Montgomery hit a home run and drove in five runs to lead Rocky Grove to a 12-1, five-inning win over A-C Valley/Union at the West Freedom Softball Field.

Montgomery was 2-for-3 while also being hit by a pitch. She scored twice.

Jillian Cratty added three RBIs for the Orioles while going 1-for-4, while Emily Rice was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

Elizabeth Mawhinney got the win going five innings allowing one run on three hits, a walk, and a hit batter. She struck out seven.

Brianna Anthony was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI for A-C Valley/Union.

Magen Walzak took the loss going 4 ⅔ innings allowing 12 runs, six earned, on 10 hits, six walks, and a hit batter. She struck out four.
