Soft: Fort LeBoeuf Hits Four Homers in Win Over Fairview; Prep, Conneaut Roll Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

WATERFORD, Pa. – Fort LeBoeuf belted four home runs in a 16-4, 5-inning win over Fairview.

Ibree Rodgers, Londyn Davis, Ryan Shields and Maggie Lemock all went deep for the Bison. Lemock finished with five RBIs, while Shields and Davis had three each and Rodgers two.

Kiernan Skelton got the win, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out seven.

Taylor Ginkel was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs for Fairview.

CATHEDRAL PREP 11, WARREN 1, 5 innings

                  

ERIE, Pa. – Emily Dudenhoeffer was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and Madison Simmerman was 3-for-3 with four RBIs as Cathedral Prep beat Warren, 11-1 in five innings.

Emalie Thomas was also 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Ramblers.

Simmerman tossed three perfect innings to get the win, striking out five.

Alana Stuart hit a solo home run for Warren.

MAPLEWOOD 11, YOUNGSVILLE 0, 5 innings

                          

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Maplewood collected 16 hits in an 11-0, 5-inning win over Youngsville.

Rhinn Post and Izzy Somerville drove in two runs each for Maplewood, while Lexus Whitman hit a solo home run and Sophia Niedbala was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Post got the win, allowing one hit in four innings, striking out six.

COCHRANTON 16, EISENHOWER 3, 5 innings

RUSSELL, Pa. – Claire McCartney, Brooklyn Needler, Raley Sokol and Reagann McClain drove in two runs each as Cochranton beat Eisenhower, 16-3.

               

Cochranton scored 12 runs in the fifth inning, collecting 11 hits and taking advantage of six Eisenhower errors.

Needler got the win, scattering 11 hits and striking out four in five innings.

Julia Gesing had three hits for Eisenhower, while Payton Frank was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Haley Highhouse 1-for-2 with an RBI.

CORRY 11, HICKORY 6

CORRY, Pa. – Corry took advantage of eight Hickory errors in an 11-6 win.

Payton McCray was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs for Corry, while Alyssa Burlew drove in a pair of runs and scored three and Kendyl Chamberlin was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

McCray got the win, scattering nine hits and allowing three earned runs while striking out nine.

Hallie Miller had three hits, including a home run for Hickory and finished with two RBIs, while Lydia Hallas was 3-for-3 with three runs.

UNION CITY 10, GIRARD 1

               

UNION CITY, Pa. – Alivia Zielinski was 3-for-4 with an RBI as Union City beat Girard, 10-1.

Danica Williamson was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs for UC, which took advantage of 10 Girard errors.

Maylynn Sipes got the win, allowing one run on four hits, striking out eight.

SHARPSVILLE 12, FARRELL 0, 5 innings

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Lily Palko homered, tripled and drove in five runs as Sharpsville beat Farrell, 12-0 in five innings.

Haley White was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs, while Jordan Brest was 1-for-2 with two RBIs.

Brest also pitched two scoreless innings, striking out four.

CONNEAUT 18, ERIE 3, 3 innings

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Lainie Harrington was 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs as Conneaut beat Erie, 18-3 in three innings.

Harrington also had two triples. Abby Potts was 1-for3- with three RBIs for CASH, while Courtney Vennare was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs and Hailey Gillilandwas 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Kylie Shrock got the win, , allowing three runs on four hits, striking out two. She also had three hits.

Kreanna McCloud drove in a pair of runs for Erie.

SHARON 16, OIL CITY, 3 innings

OIL CITY, Pa. – Maddy Vogan hit a 2-run homer and pitched three hitless innings with nine strikeouts as Sharon beat Oil City, 16-0 in three innings.

Sharon collected 10 hits in the game, as Vogan finished with three RBIs, Claire Bodien had two hits, include a double and an RBI, Lacey Root a double and an RBI, Dalaini Bayer and Mya Bunddrant doubles, Mary Claire Brown a single and two RBIs, Jordan Curtician a single and two RBIs and Chloe Pagliarini a single and an RBI.

Nyssa Hanlon allowed 16 runs (seven earned) for Oil City, striking out five and walking three.

WILMINGTON 1, WEST MIDDLESEX 0

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – An error on a ball hit by Ava Williamson allowed for the only run of the game to score, sending Wilmington to a 1-0 win over West Middlesex.

Williamson got the win, allowing two hits, striking out 12 and walking three.

Kaylee Long took the loss, allowing 6 ⅓ innings on three hits, striking out six and walking one.
