LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Saegertown High School graduate and Mercyhurst University senior Ryan Peters was named the PSAC Golf of the Week on Wednesday.
Peters earned the award after his performance at the Hal Hansen Invitational, hosted by Clarion University. Peters posted a two-under 70 in the first round and a two-over 74 in the second round for a total of 144 to claim medalist honors. The two-under round was the best of his college career.
The Lakers, who earned a first-place finish as a team, return to action Oct. 15-17 in the PSAC Championships Oct. 15-17 at the Hershey Country Club.
