Port Boys Edge Coudy; Brannock, ECC Beat Kane; GM, Slippery Rock Notch Wins (Sept. 11 Soccer Recaps)

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Henry Kisler scored with 22 minutes remaining to lift Port Allegany to a 1-0 win over Coudersport.

Kisler’s goal came on a penalty kick.

Braidyn Rumsey had nine stops for Coudy and Aidan Clark nine for Port Allegany.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 3, KANE 1

KANE, Pa. – Timmy Brannock scored all three goals for Elk County Catholic in the first half as the Crusaders earned a 3-1 win over Kane.

            

Lance O’Neil had two assists and Aaron Bennett the other for ECC.

Sagan Beaver and Merrick Lecky split time in net for the Crusaders.

GENERAL MCLANE 10, FORT LEBOEUF 1

EDINBORO, Pa. – Cooper Robson and Ethan Bihler both had hat tricks as General McLane beat Fort LeBoeuf, 10-1.

Gio Masone, David Price, Aiden Burkhart and Brennan Burkhardt also scored for GM.

                          

Robson and Masone had two assists each, while Bihler, Carter Sindlinger, Que Ferry and Price had one each.

Josh Pennock had Fort LeBoeuf’s goal.

SLIPPERY ROCK 3, MEADVILLE 0

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Trent Davey, Zach Lasko and Nick Olshanski scored to lead Slippery Rock to a 3-1 win over Meadville.

Lasko, Max Kovacick and Ryan Strother all had assists for Slippery Rock.

Josh Book had the shutout in goal.

WARREN 5, IROQUOIS 0

ERIE, Pa. – Jack Chapman had a hat trick as Warren blanked Iroquois, 5-0.

Gavin Rex and Trey Carrington also scored for Warren.

Quinn Norris had two assists for the Dragons, while Finn Ordiway and Carrington had one each.

                        

Adon Maier had the shutout in net.

GIRLS

CLEARFIELD 1, BELLEFONTE 1, double overtime

HYDE, Pa. – Kaylie Brown scored with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation for Clearfield as they battled to a 1-1 draw with Bellefonte.

Kira Knox had the assist for the Bison.

         

Madyson Miller had scored four minutes earlier for Bellefonte.

Mia Helsel had four stops in net for Clearfield.

CLARION 3, FRANKLIN 1

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Lexi Coull recorded a hat trick to lead Clarion to a 3-1 win over Franklin.

TITUSVILLE 5, WILMINGTON 4

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Graci Sampson scored two goals to help Titusville to a 5-4 win over Wilmington.

Addy Burleigh, Paige McQuiston and Cara Jackson also scored for Titusville.

Sarah Dieter had two goals for Wilmington, while Carly Hogg and Analiese Hendrickson had one goal each.

Dieter also had two assists.

Danica Fonzo was in net for Titusville and Brianna Jenkins for Wilmington.
