
GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College football team defeated the Bethany Bison in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) game Saturday afternoon, 22-14, to snap the program’s 27-game home losing streak.
The Tomcats last home win came back in 2016, a 50-42 thriller over Waynesburg.
Bradford High grad Donny Pattison had 10 carries for 48 yards in the win.
GROVE CITY 27, CASE WESTERN 24, OVERTIME
CLEVELAND – Logan Pfeuffer’s 8-yard pass to Scott Fraser in overtime lifted Grove City to a 27-24 win over Case Western Reserve.
Gabriel Petrozzi had kicked a 37-yard field to give Case Western the lead in overtime.
Nicol Flati rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown for Grove City, while West Middlesex grad Clayton Parrish had 22 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
GENEVA 27, ALLEGHENY 21
MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny College football team lost a heartbreaker to the Golden Tornadoes of Geneva College, 27-21, on Saturday in from of 2,281 fans at Frank B. Fuhrer Field. It came down to the final seconds, but the Gators (1-1, 1-1 PAC) fell just short in an attempt at a late comeback during their home opener.

WASHINGTON, Pa.–The Westminster College football team suffered a 48-3 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to Washington & Jefferson College Saturday afternoon at Cameron Stadium.
W&J pushed its record this season to 3-0. Westminster fell to 1-2.
