WARREN, Pa. – Oil City’s Ethan Knox is the Week Two 2021 D9and10Sports.com District 10 Jim Kelly Football Player of the Week powered by the Allgheny Grille of Foxburg.

Knox made big plays all over the field in the Oilers’ 38-18 win at Conneaut on Thursday, a game in which they trailed 18-16 at halftime, accounting for four touchdowns.

Knox rushed for 290 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 52, 45 and 19 yards, as well as a 77-yard punt return.

Jim Kelly is the Hall of Fame quarterback of the Buffalo Bills who grew up in East Brady, Pa. and went to Miami (Fla). Kelly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 after passing for over 45,000 yards as a pro, including two seasons in the USFL, with 320 career touchdown passes. He led the Bills to four straight AFC Titles. Kelly’s name on the award is being used with his permission.
