NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Allegheny College junior and North East High School graduate Carter Hassenplug was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week, the conference announced.
Hassenplug tied for second out of 75 at The Gauntlet at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Club in Harrisburg.
He finished one stroke out of the lead with a 5-under-par 139. Hassenplug was 3-under with a 69 during the first round and did not bogey any holes on Sunday and then finished 2-under with a 70 during Monday’s final round. He had seven total birdies for the tournament.
