ERIE, Pa. – McDowell earned a 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 27-25) win over Saegertown.
Andy Trost had a big match with 22 kills to go along with nine digs. Also pacing the Trojans were Daniel Easly (nine digs), Mark Sanford (nine kills), Will Dean (12 assists), Nick Malina (10 digs), RJ Nagg (19 assists).
For Saegertown, Brady Greco had 25 assists and eight digs, while Conrad Williams (six kills, six digs), Jaden Wilkins (15 kills, four digs), Colin Jones (four kills, five digs) and Sam Hetrick (10 digs) also paced the Panthers.
MEADVILLE 3, ROCKY GROVE 0
MEADVILLE, Pa. – Meadville topped Rocky Grove 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-8).
Leading Rocky Grove were Wyatt Gregory (seven points, one ace, one kill, five digs), Alex Zinz (seven points, seven kills, 10 digs), Blayne Baker (four points, one kill, two digs), Camron King (three points, one kill, 10 blocks), Joshua Stevenson (six points, one kill, five blocks), Dustin McMullen (two points, two kills, one block), Avery Purich (two points, four digs), Silas Adams (two points, three digs) and Logan Patterson (two blocks).
