HERMITAGE, Pa. – Jamestown scored four runs in the seventh to stun previously unbeaten Fort LeBoeuf for the District 10 Class 3A championship, 5-2.

Clare Jones drew a leadoff walk in the seventh, while Reese Schaller walked with one out, followed by an RBI single from Kiley Matters to tie the game.

With the game tied 2-2, Savannah Thurber’s 2-run single gave the Muskies the lead, which was followed by an error that allowed another run to cross the plate.

Miranda Biles got the win, allowing five runs (two earned) on five hits and six walks, striking out eight.

Schaller’s RBI single in the first gave Jamestown a 1-0 lead, but Kiernan Skelton and Sadie Bowers drew back-to-back bases-loaded walks in the fourth to give LeBoeuf its 2-1advantage.

Jamestown will take on WPIAL No. 4, either Burrell or Waynesburg Central in the first round of the PIAA championships on Monday, June 5th, while LeBeouf will play the WPIAL champion, either Avonworth or Southmoreland.
