General McLane Races Past Corry; North East Hands LeBoeuf First Loss

EDINBORO, Pa. – Matt Caro threw three touchdown passes, two of which went to Jacob Zietz, as General McLane beat Corry, 41-15.

The Lancers led 20-7 at halftime on the strength of one of those touchdown passes to Zietz (33 yards), while Zietz (17 yards) and Magnus Lloyd (8 yards) had first-half touchdown runs.

Ian Salisbury’s 17-yard touchdown run just over a minute into the third quarter made it 27-7 GM, and Caro threw two more touchdown passes, a 25-yarder to Zietz and a 10-yard pass to Justin Burgos.

Nolan Carey threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Rylan Smith for Corry.

NORTH EAST 14, FORT LEBOEUF 7

            

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Jamari Curlett’s 55-yard touchdown run just over a minute into the third quarter broke a gave North East the lead for good in a 14-7 win for North East.

Not only to the Grape Pickers win their fourth straight game, they also handed the Bison their first loss.

The Pickers trailed 7-6 before Curlett’s touchdown run.

Fort LeBoeuf got on the board first on Conner McChesney’s touchdown run at the midway point of the second quarter.

North East countered with a 16-yard touchdown pass from Jackson Humes to Noah Crozier with four minutes to go in the second quarter.
