Ferringer’s 28 Kills Leads Cranberry VB Past Moniteau; NC Rallies; C-L, Keystone Sweep to Wins

Ayanna Ferringer had 28 kills and 14 digs for Cranberry Saturday

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Ayanna Ferringer had 28 kills, 14 digs, and five blocks to help Cranberry withstand a strong comeback attempt from homestanding Moniteau in a 3-2 (25-23, 25-14, 17-25, 23-25, 15-10) win.

Allie Rembold ran the offense for the Berries with 33 set assists while adding five digs and two blocks with Lexi Reisinger chipping in seven kills and Reyna Watson three kills and 11 digs.

Avery Coe also had two kills, two blocks, and three digs for Cranberry, and Kennedy Stewart added four set assists and three kills.

Bella Hernandez had eight kills, four blocks, and two set assists for Moniteau with Marissa Pry adding nine kills, three aces, and three blocks. Davina Pry also had eight kills, two aces, and three blocks.



FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – North Clarion reversed swept Punxsutawney, 3-2 (15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15, 15-11) at the Wolves Den.

Alexa Carll had a big day for the She-Wolves with 16 kills, 14 digs, three aces, and six blocks.

Kyler Freeman added 11 kills, 28 digs, and three blocks in the victory with Lily Homan chipping in six kills, McKenzie Lencer five kills and 11 digs, and Julia Daum had 12 digs and three blocks.

Ainsley Hartle ran the offense for North Clarion with 28 set assists and completed a double-double with 15 digs. She also had seven aces and three blocks.



DUBOIS, Pa. – Kaylee Smith had 26 set assists to help visiting Clarion-Limestone stay unbeaten with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 27-25) win over DuBois Central Catholic.

Hannah Beggs had a double-double for the Lady Lions with 12 kills and 11 digs with Abby Knapp-Greeley adding 12 digs.


KNOX, Pa. – Ava Patrick had eight kills, three blocks, and three aces to help Keystone sweep visiting Oil City, 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-21).

Gwyn Manno added 17 digs for the Lady Panthers, while Bryanna Mong had nine set assists.

Nicki Petro had nine kills and four digs for Oil City with Arianna Cochran added six kills and Libbie Arnink added nine digs.

Chayse Skinner ran the Oilers offense with 15 set assists.
