NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Central Clarion’s Jase Ferguson, Redbank Valley’s Mason Clouse, and Coudersport’s Gavyn Ayers have been chosen as the Offensive MVP’s in the District 9 Football League.
Ferguson is the Region 1 Offensive MVP, Clouse is the Region 2 Offensive MVP, and Ayers is the Region 3 Offensive MVP.
Defensive MVPs and Offensive and Defensive Lineman of the Year as well as Coaches of the Year were also named in each Region.
In Region 1, Central Clarion’s Braylon Beckwith was Defensive MVP, in Region 2 Brockway’s Johnny Varischetti was Defensive MVP, and in Region 3 Coudersport’s Viggo Brown was Defensive MVP.
The Offensive Linemen of the Year were Punxsutawney’s Matthew Grusky (Region 1), Port Allegany’s Carsen Neely (Region 2), and Cameron County’s Jespop Farabaugh (Region 3), while the Defensive Linemen of the Year were Central Clarion’s Hayden Hindman (Region 1), Port Allegany’s Miska Young (Region 2), and Otto-Eldred’s Braxton Caldwell (Region 3).
Coaches of the Year were Karns City’s Joe Sherwin (Region 1), Port Allegany’s Justin Bienkowski (Region 2), and Coudersport’s Frank Brown (Region 3).
