WARREN, Pa. – Cranberry’s Ayanna Ferringer and Warren’s Kylie Fehlman are the Week 5 2023 TapnPay+ District 9 and District 10 Volleyball Players of the Week.
Ferringer helped Cranberry to a 4-0 week by averaging 23.3 kills per match and 6.2 kills per set while topping 20 kills three times. She also averaged 11 digs per match and 2.93 digs per set in the four wins.
She had 20 kills, three digs, three blocks, and three aces in a 3-0 win over Union Sept. 25 and followed that up by recording a double-double of 18 kills and 12 digs while adding five aces and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Keystone Sept. 26.
Two days later, she had 27 kills, 15 digs, six blocks, and two aces in a 3-1 win at Karns City before concluding her week Sept. 30 with 28 kills, 14 digs, and five blocks in a 3-2 win at Moniteau.
Fehlman helped Warren go 2-0 during the week including a 3-2 come-from-behind win at Maplewood Wednesday.
In that match, she had 21 kills and five blocks.
That came a day after Fehlman helped lead the Dragons to a 3-0 win over General McLane with 12 kills and three blocks giving her 33 kills and eight blocks in two matches while averaging 4.1 kills per set.
