ERIE, Pa. – Cathedral Prep’s Tommy Prichard and McDowell’s Aaron Heinlein are District 10 tennis champions.
Both Prichard and Heinlein were the No. 2 seeds, beating the top seeds, Fairview’s Grayson Millette and Erie’s Matthew Prenovitz, respectively at the Westwood Racquet Club.
Prichard earned a 6-3, 8-6 (7-2) win over Milette in Class 2A and Heinlein a 3-set victory over Prenovitz in Class 3A 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Prichard and Heinlein have almost a 3-week layoff before the state championships, May 28-29 at the Hershey Racquet Club.
