DUBOIS, Pa. – Elk County Catholic won its first District 9 Class 1A volleyball title since 1996 with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-18) win over Clarion-Limestone at DuBois High School.

Both teams move into the PIAA playoffs, but the Lady Crusaders finally got over the hump after being District 9 runner-up in two of the last three seasons.
