Q&A
Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I started playing soccer around when I was five and then I started playing softball around six.
Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: In 2019, my Little League All-Star team won Eastern Regionals in the minors division.
Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: I would want to go to the Olympic Games and watch team USA play softball.
Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: Ms. Mackenzie Gahr has had the greatest impact on me because she has always believed in me and made me laugh when being my teacher and volleyball coach.
Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: For my breakfast on every game day I eat the cereal Lucky Charms and save the marshmallows for last.
Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: I would want to go to Jamaica because I want to see how beautiful the island is.
Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: I would want to go back to see Michael Jordan and Larry Bird play basketball against each other.
Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: I wish you would have asked me what I am thinking about when I’m playing defense on the field or on the court. I would have said how I constantly say to myself “attack, attack, attack,” so when the ball gets hit to me, there is less of a chance for it to take a bad hop or for me to make a mistake.
