WARREN, Pa. – The YDL Sports Network will be doing one video broadcast and one audio-only broadcast on Monday, June 10, from the PIAA baseball/softball semifinals.
The DuBois Central Catholic vs. Old Forge softball game will be a video broadcast, while the Punxsutawney vs. Avonwroth baseball game will be an audio-only broadcast because NFHS has come in and used it right-of-first-refusal to broadcast the game.
Fans can still access a video broadcast of the Punxsy/Avonworth game but will have to pay for an NFHS subscription. The YDL Sports Network audio broadcast will be free of charge. The DCC/Old Forge broadcast, as always, will be free of charge.
Meanwhile, it is also known that the Harbor Creek vs. Sharon PIAA 3A softball semifinal game will be available with a video broadcast on Sports Radio 96.7 FM with the video broadcast on its Facebook page.
It is unknown at this time if the Saegertown vs. Eden Christian Class 1A baseball semifinal game will have any sort of broadcast.
Game times are as follows:
Softball: DCC vs. Old Forge at Lock Haven University – 2 p.m. – Airtime 1:45 p.m.
Sharon vs. Harbor Creek at Allegheny College – 3 p.m.
Saegertown vs. Eden Christian at Slippery Rock University – 3 p.m.
Punxsutawney vs. Avonworth at First Commonwealth Bank Field, Homer City – 4 p.m. – Airtime 3:45 p.m.
