Soft: Meadville Edges Titusville; Franklin, Fariview Pick up Wins Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Addyson Kregel’s RBI groundout in the first inning accounted for the lone run of the game in Meadville’s 1-0 win over Titusville.

Kregel brought in Kendall Mealy, who tripled.

Lila Kightlinger got the win, going five innings, allowing three hits and striking out 12. Rylee Kregel went the final two innings to get the save, allowing three hits and striking out a pair.

Kyra Atkins and Mahalia Campbell had two hits each for Titusville. Jordan Wynn was the tough-luck losing pitcher, allowing one run on five hits in seven innings, striking out three and walking one.

FRANKLIN 14, WARREN 4, 5 innings

                  

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Autumn Fitzgerald went 3-for-3 with six RBIs to help power Franklin to a 14-4, 5-inning win over Warren.

Alysa Rial was 3-for-3 with three RBIs for the Knights, while Rilee Hanna was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Jersey Swartz got the win, allowing four runs in five innings on seven hits, striking out five.

Malysia Sorenson was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Warren, while Alexis Jones was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Alana Warrior also drove in a run.

Alana Stuart took the loss, allowing six runs (two earned) in two innings on five hits, striking out two and walking two.

                          

FAIRVIEW 14, GENERAL MCLANE 3, 6 innings

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Fairview scored eight runs in the sixth inning, beating General McLane 14-3 in six innings

Taylor Ginkel had a huge game in the win, going 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and six RBIs. Also for Fairview, Ellery Nornhold was 3-for-4 with an RBI, Jocelyn Terella 1-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored and Taylor Polach 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Polach got the win, going five innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out two.

Sydney Clark was 1-for-1 with two RBIs for the Lancers.

               

SHARON 15, REYNOLDS 0, 3 innings

SHARON, Pa. – Lacey Root belted two home runs to help power Sharon to a 15-0 win over Reynolds in three innings.

Sharon had 11 hits in the game, as Maddy Vogan also clubbed a 3-run home run, while Claire Bodien had three singles and three RBIs, Dalaini Bayer an RBI single and Chloe Pagliarini and Mya Bundrant a single and an RBI each.

Bodien got the win, allowing one hit and striking out eight.
