SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Fort LeBoeuf at Slippery Rock football game slated for Friday, Aug. 27, has been canceled.
According to Bob Greenburg of Sports Radio 96.7 FM in Mercer, the reason is COVID-19 related on the Fort LeBoeuf side.

Slippery Rock is actively looking for an opponent to play. It is not known if that will occur.
Due to cancellation, Slippery Rock is looking for a Varsity Football game on Friday, August 27.

It is the second District 10 game to be canceled in Week 1 with the Mercyhurst Prep vs. Penns Valley game canceled due to COVID-19 concerns at Mercyhurst Prep. Penns Valley picked up Richland.
