• Punxsutawney alum Kylee Lingenfelter fanned 12 batters on Sunday, including the first 10 Memphis hitters of the game and 11 of the first 12, while the Penn State bats dominated the Tigers, 10-0, in five innings.
• The Nittany Lions improved to 5-0 on the season enjoying their best start since the 1974 season, when they started 7-0.

• Mitchell Peers went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs to lead Kutztown. Jack Skrocki went five shutout innings to get the win for Kutztown.
• Darren Byers had an RBI for Clarion. Griffin Snyder allowed 6 runs in 2 ⅔ innings to suffer the loss.
Shippensburg 11, Gannon 8
• Austin Baal belted a grand slam to help lead Shippensburg past Gannon. Gabe Stotler went seven shutout innings with four strikeouts to get the win.
• McDowell grad Jared Bielanin went 3-for-5, with two RBI for Gannon. Kane grad Carson Whiteman allowed three runs in zero innings to suffer the loss.

• Luke Beatty went 3-for-5 with three RBI to lead Bethany. Trey Mantle went 4 ⅓ innings, allowing one run to get the win.
• Tanner Kobal went 4-for-4 with an RBI for La Roche.
