DUBOIS, Pa. – The District 9 Class 2A championship game between top-seeded Cranberry and third-seeded Curwensville has been postponed until 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Heindl Field in DuBois.
The teams were warming up on Wednesday when District 9 decided based on current weather conditions and a bad looking radar that the game would be postponed until Thursday.
The game needed to be played at 2 p.m. because of a Challenger League game at Heindl Field Thursday. The field was built with money to make it a Challenger field and thus Challenger games have priority.
The game will be broadcast on the YDL Sports Network.
There will be no gate charge on Thursday.
