LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Clearfield High School graduate and IUP senior swimmer Paige Mikesell got her season off to a great start, nabbing PSAC Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week honors.
Mikesell, the 2020-21 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Year, got her season going with a pair of record performances.
Her 1:52.71 200-yard freestyle broke a 35-year-old Shippensburg pool record. Mikesell was also a part of the 1:48.63 200-yard medley relay that broke another Shippensburg pool record.
