WARREN, Pa. – Clarion’s Hadlee Campbell and North East’s Cadence Jones are the Week 2 2023 TapNPay Plus District 9 and District 10 volleyball Players of the Week.
Campbell led the Lady Cats to a pair of 3-0 wins, including a 3-0 win over DuBois and Keystone on the road. She had 31 kills, 20 digs, and five aces n those two matches.
That included 15-kill, 14-dig, 3-block, 3-ace performance in the win over DuBois, the defending District 9 Class 3A champion.
She followed that up with a 16-kill, 6-dig, 2-ace match against Keystone.
Jones had 24 kills and 18 digs in a pair of wins for North East.
In the Grape Pickers’ 3-0 win over Cathedral Prep, she had 12 kills, seven digs, and five aces.
Jones followed that up with a 12-kill, 11-dig performance in a 3-0 win over General McLane.
