Base: Myers, Coudy End O-E Playoff Hopes; Curwensville, Kane, Brockway Get Wins powered by N. Washington Rodeo

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – LT Myers had four hits and two RBIs to lead Coudersport to a 9-2 win over visiting Otto-Eldred.

The loss eliminated Otto-Eldred from playoff contention.

Myers was 4-for-4.

Mason Roessner also drove in a pair of runs for the Falcons and was the winning pitcher.

                  

He went 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored while going seven innings allowing two runs, one earned, on five hits and a walk. He struck out eight.

Davey Schenfield went 1-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI for Otto-Eldred.

Zach Schuessler took the loss going four innings allowing six runs, four earned, on five hits, two hit batters, and four walks. He struck out four.

CURWENSVILLE 10, HARMONY 6

WESTOVER, Pa. – Down a run going to the fifth, Curwensville scored six runs between the fifth and sixth innings to rally past Harmony, 10-6.

                          

The Golden Tide trailed 5-4 until scoring four times in the fifth and twice more in the sixth to take a 10-5 lead.

Merek Sutika was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead Curwensville with Andrew Pentz going 3-for-3 with two walks, two RBIs, and four runs scored.

Kyler Nelen also went 2-for-2 with a run scored.

Pentz got the win going six innings allowing six runs, five earned, on nine hits, three walks, and a hit batter. He struck out eight.

KANE 11, A-C VALLEY/UNION 4

               

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Phinn Chamberlain threw a seven-hitter to lift visiting Kane to an 11-4 win at A-C Valley/Union.

Chamberlain went seven innings allowing four runs, two earned, on seven hits, a walk, and a hit batter. He struck out six.

Isaiah Smith drove in three for the Wolves going 1-for-3 with a double.

Brock Wensel went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs, while Dane Anderson went 1-for-4 with three runs scored, and Eric Novosel was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored.

Chase Ruth, Sebastian Link, and CXX McGarvey each had two hits for A-C Valley/Union.

Ruth was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored with Link going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI, and McGarvey was going 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

Trey Fleming took the loss going 5 ⅓ innings allowing eight runs, one earned, on seven hits, four walks, and two hit batters. He struck out three.

BROCKWAY 12, FOREST AREA 0, 5 INNINGS

TIONESTA, Pa. – Dylan Bash drove in four runs to help Brockway to a 12-0, five-inning win over Forest Area at West Forest.

               

Bash went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, and a run scored.

Raiden Craft was also 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored with Jeremy Swanson going 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Zayden Faith going 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, and RBI, and two runs scored.

Faith got the win going five innings allowing three hits, a walk, and two hit batters. He struck out six.

BELLEFONTE 15, DUBOIS 2, 5 INNINGS

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Peyton Vancas and Levi Purnell each drove in four runs in Bellefonte’s 15-2, five-inning win over visiting DuBois.

The Raiders scored 10 in the first and five in the second.

Canvas was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored and Purnell was 1-for-1 with a double, a walk, and a run scored.

Parker Campparelle got the win going four innings allowing two earned runs on five hits and a walk.

Danny Dixon hit a home run for DuBois, while Trey Wingard was 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Tyler Chamberlin took the loss going ⅔ of an inning allowing nine earned runs on seven hits and two walks.
