Base: Meadville Walks Off Against Mercyhurst Prep; Youngsville, GM Notch Wins Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Rocco Tartaglione delivered a walk-off RBI single to send Meadville past Mercyhurst Prep, 3-2.

Tartaglione drove in two runs for Meadville, while Bradyn Miller was 1-for-2 with an RBI.

AJ Feleppa got the complete game win, allowing two unearned runs on four hits, striking out five and walking one.

Alex Manendo took the loss, allowing one run in one inning on two hits.

YOUNGSVILLE 8, COCHRANTON 5

                  

COCHRANTON, Pa. – David Manning drove in five runs as Youngsville beat Cochranton, 8-5, scoring two runs in the sixth after the game was tied at 5-5.

Nate Lucks pitched 6 ⅓ innings for Youngsville, allowing five runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out nine and walking three. Wyatt Dalrymple picked up the last two outs for the save.

Lucks was also 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while Matt DeSimone had two hits and scored a run, James Johnson was 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs and Braydon Baker was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Blake Foulk was 1-for-4 with an RBI for Cochranton.

GENERAL MCLANE 4, CORRY 1

                          

EDINBORO, Pa. – Hayden Spencer and Alex Clark combined on a 3-hitter as General McLane beat Corry, 4-1.

Spencer got the win, going five innings and allowing one run on two hits, striking out nine and walking four. Clark went two shutout innings, striking out one and walking one.

Kellen Chelton was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Lancers, while Charlie Swanson was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Keaton Frisina was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Corry. Lewis Hellyer took the loss, allowing two runs in three innings on three hits, striking out one.

FAIRVIEW 12, NORTH EAST 2, 6 innings

               

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Caleb Szklenski and Ed Dolansky both homered as Fairview beat North East, 12-2 in six innings.

Szklenski finished with three RBIs and Dolansky two for the Tigers.

Aari Fox and Andrew Stevens also had two RBIs each for Fairview.

Szkelenski got the win, allowing one run on three hits in four innings, striking out four and walking one.

MCDOWELL 12, FORT LEBOEUF 2, 5 innings

ERIE, Pa. – Santino Musone homered and drove in a pair of runs as McDowell beat Fort LeBoeuf, 12-2 in five innings.

Connor Cross was 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Trojans, who scored at least two runs in every inning, while Evan Stranko also drove in a pair of runs. Gary Hills was also 2-for-2 with an RBI and scored four runs.

Ethan Bechtold got the win, allowing two runs (one earned) in five innings on four hits, striking out three.

Jackson Lewis was 1-for-3 with an RBI for LeBoeuf.

               

HICKORY 8, NESHANNOCK 7

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Luke Ferrence’s sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh gave Hickory an 8-6 lead and proved to be the difference in the Hornets’ 8-7 win over Neshannock.

Max Moreland was 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Hickory, while Joey Cidila was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI and Dom Uberti 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Jacob Sloan picked up the win. He allowed two runs in 1 ⅓ innings.

LAKEVIEW 18, JAMESTOWN 1, 3 innings

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Owen Dye homered, had three hits and drove in four runs as Lakeview beat Jamestown, 18-1 in three innings.

Cody Fagley was 3-for-4 with four RBIs for the Sailors, while Lucas Fagley was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs and Brody Snyder and Garet Guthrie drove in two runs each.

Chris Mong got the win, allowing one unearned run on two hits, striking out five.
