AINSLEY HARTLE – SENIOR – NORTH CLARION

Sports Played: Volleyball and Basketball
Parents Names: Roddy and Misty Hartle. Mom is the AD at Forest Area. Dad is one of the top basketball officials in District 9 if not the state. Mom and dad are both members of the District 9 Committee.
Siblings: Brother Aiden, who was a 1,000-point scorer at North Clarion who is now playing baseball at PennWest Clarion

Highlights: 2023- KSAC semifinals for basketball; 2023- volleyball and basketball playoffs’ 2021and 2023-all tournament team; 2024- Offensive Player of the Year for volleyball
College Athletics plan if applicable: I’m still unsure if I’d like to play in college but if I do I would choose to play volleyball

Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I have always been introduced to a gym since a young age by my parents
and also have always practiced daily.

Q: What would you consider to be the best moment of your high-school playing career?
A: Making it to playoffs for volleyball for the first year in a long time
and making it to Clarion University for the KSAC games.

         

Q: If you could witness a moment or an event in history what would it be and why would you choose that moment/event?
A: Any top 10 game for volleyball

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: Mrs. Sandrock, my Spanish teacher. She is always very helpful and
always is uplifting/

                          

Q: Do you have a go-to pregame or postgame meal and if so what is it and why do you like it?
A: Postgame meal is my team’s thing. We always go out to eat fast food
after our games win or lose. I feel that that’s when the team really gets closer

Q: You can take one person on vacation anywhere in the world. Who would you take and where would you go?
A: I would choose my mom mainly because I can’t do anything without her.
I would go to Bora Bora because we both love the beach

Q: What offseason acitivies do you participate in to stay sharp for sports?
A: Lots and lots of open gyms for both sports and workout programs
