YDL Sports Network Set to Broadcast Four Games Thursday, June 6

WARREN, Pa. – The YDL Sports Network will be broadcasting four PIAA playoff games on Thursday, June 6, two softball and two baseball games in the quarterfinals.

In Class 1A softball action, DuBois Central Catholic takes on Meyersdale from St. Francis in Loretto. Brian Hagberg has the call of the game, which is powered by Acrisure in DuBois, Mike’s BiLo, and 814 Home & Hardware. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. with an airtime of 3:15 p.m.

In Class 4A softball, St. Marys takes on Archbishop Wood from Central Columbia School District in Bloomsburg. Andy Close has the call of the game, which is powered by Beimel Transportation. The game is tentatively set to start at 3:30 p.m. with an airtime of 3:15 p.m. although there is a game before it which could change the start time.

In Class 2A baseball, Redbank Valley battles North Star from First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City. Chris Rossetti has the call of the game, which is powered by Nolf Chrysler-Dodge. The game is set for 4 p.m. with an airtime of 3:45 p.m.

In Class 3A baseball, Punxsutawney takes on South Allegheny from First Commonwealth Field in Homer City. Chris Rossetti has the call of the game, which is powered by Joe’s Drive-in and Grange Lime & Stone. The game is set for 7 p.m. with an airtime of 6:45 p.m. although that could be pushed back depending on the length of the Redbank Valley/North Star game.

It is also known that the Class 3A softball game between Sharon and Chestnut Ridge will be broadcast on Sports Radio 96.7 FM with Video coverage on its Facebook page. That game is set for Noon from Gateway High School.
