HERSHEY – Villa Maria’s Tara Thomas is on her way to the PIAA State Tennis final after a 6-2, 6-2 win over Moravian Academy’s Chessie Bartolacci in the semifinals at the Hershey Raquet Club Saturday morning.
Thomas will face South Williamsport’s Olivia Dorner for the 2A state title at 1 p.m.
The Victors’ doubles team of Anne Marie Prichard and Abby Consiglio fell to Conrad Weiser’s Emma Perkins and Alex Pancu, 6-0, 6-1, in their semifinal match. Prichard and Consiglio will face Riverside’s Madeline DeFaber and Bella Aniska in the consolations, also set to begin at 1 p.m.
