Andy Close had a chance to sit down with Hickory’s Michael Henwood on Wednesday evening via Zoom.
Henwood, who was named District 10 Jim Kelly Football Player of the Week Powered by the Allegheny Grille for Week 3 following a brilliant 6-touchdown performance against Slippery Rock, talked about Hickory’s 3-0 start, surpassing 3,000 career passing yards and a number of other topics.
In addition to being a standout on the gridiron, Henwood is an excellent student, and plans on majoring in pre-med in college.
