STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – The Karns City boys’ track and field team swept a tri-meet at Clarion-Limestone Tuesday beating the host Lions, 97-53, and Union, 105-44.
Meanwhile, the Moniteau boys’ and girls’ teams swept A-C Valley winning the boys’ meet, 116-35, and the girls’ meet, 117-26.
Over in District 10, Oil City swept Meadville winning the girls’ meet, 117-33, and the boys’ meet, 107-42. The Oiler girls are now 8-0 on the season.
In the Oil City boys’ win, Mario Fontanzza threw a personal best 150-feet, 5-inches in the discus and a personal best 49-feet, 1 3/4-inches in the shot put.
