
LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats defeated the Saint Vincent Bearcats 30-27 Saturday in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) game at Chuck Noll Field.
Thiel got off to a quick start and held a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Jorden Collier (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln) scored Thiel’s first touchdown on a 40-yard run six minutes into the first frame to cap off a 5-play, 56-yard drive.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Carnegie Mellon University football team traveled to Westminster College on Saturday for a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) showdown and left with a 21-7 victory and the first for the Tartans in New Wilmington since 1967.

CLEVELAND – Case Western Reserve University senior quarterback Alex Fromberg recorded his second-straight 300-yard passing game and threw for four touchdowns to lead the Spartans to a 42-14 win over Allegheny College on Senior Day at DiSanto Field in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday.
With the win, the Spartans improved to 7-2, marking the most wins by the team since the 2019 campaign. CWRU will head into the final week of the season one game behind Carnegie Mellon for second place in the league, with the Spartans and the Tartans set to meet in Pittsburgh next weekend. Allegheny, which will have its open week next week, finished the 2023 campaign with a 3-7 record.
