There is a new No. 1 in the D9and10Sports.com District 9 Football Rankings, as Brookville takes over the top spot after Week Five.
The Raiders (5-0) won another impressive game with a 49-14 victory over Punxsutawney. That, coupled with Clearfield’s 25-21 loss to Central-Martinsburg, vaulted Brookville into the top spot.
St. Marys (4-0) checks in at No. 2 followed by Clearfield (2-1) at No. 3, Coudersport (4-0) at No. 4 and Smethport (4-0) at No. 5. Coudersport and Smethport meet in Smethport Friday night.
