Greenville Blanks Iroquois to Pick up First Victory of Season

   
   

ERIE, Pa. – Rudy Gentile rushed for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Greenville blanked Iroquois, 35-0 for its first win of the season.

The win was also the first for Greenville coach Mike Menold.

Greenville built a 22-0 halftime lead on a Nick Solderich 1-yard touchdown run, a safety, a Malachi Hyde 13-yard touchdown run and a Gentile 3-yard touchdown run.

Gentile scored on a 17-yard run in the second half and Solderich on a 20-yard run.

Hyde finished with 85 yards rushing and Solderich 67 yards through the air.

            

FAIRVIEW-GIRARD MOVED TO SATURDAY

The Fairview at Girard game was postponed due to lightning. It will now be played on Saturday. The time has yet to be determined.
