ECC, A-C Valley Take Home Titles at St. Marys Competitive Spirit Competition Saturday

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Elk County Catholic and A-C Valley took home championships Saturday at the St. Marys Competitive Spirit Competition at St. Marys High School.

ECC won the Large Varsity division, while A-C Valley took home the Co-Ed Varsity division.

The Crusaders’ score of 89.2 points was the top score among all programs at the event just ahead of the Neshannock Junior High squad, which won the Junior High Division with a score of 89.1 points.

ECC topped Neshannock’s varsity squad to win the Large Varsity division, as the Lancers finished second with 86.6 points. Karns City was third with 82.6 points.

In the Co-Ed Varsity division, A-C Valley bested second-place Johnsonburg, 82.3 to 79.2. C-L was third with a score of 69.4.

Jersey Shore took home first place in the Small Varsity division with a score of 70.1 just ahead of second-place Punxsutawney, 67.1. Bradford was third with a score of 60.6
