ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys blanked visiting Brockway in tennis action on Monday, 7-0.
At No. 1 singles, Davan Lyon bested Selena Buttery 6-0, 6-3, and that was followed by wins from Emma Gavazzi (6-2, 6-2), Rachel Fleming (6-2, 6-1) and Mya Klaiber (6-0, 6-2).
The No. 1 St. Marys doubles’ team of Lion and Maddy Whittman bested Buttery and Taylor Rhed 8-5, while June Chen and Caitlin Blessel (8-4) topped Hannah Zuccolotto and Macie Dixon, while Andrea Adamski and Emily Ritter were 8-3 winners for the Dutch.
