LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Nate Sestina is moving up.
The Cameron County High School graduate, who competed for the Utah Jazz Blue in the Salt Lake City Summer League this past week, has been selected by the Jazz to compete in the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Action in Las Vegas got underway Sunday night, with the Jazz scheduled to play their first game on Monday at 10 p.m. EDT against the Phoenix Suns. The game can be seen on NBA TV.
Sestina pulled down 23 rebounds in the three games in Salt Lake City.
The league runs through Aug. 17. at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. All 75 games of the 10-day competition will air live on television on ESPN networks or NBA TV.
