Sept. 30 Soccer: Kane, Port Allegany Boys Win; Hickory Girls Battle to OT Victory

   

KANE, Pa. – Aidan Markert and Aaron Mishic both scored to lift Kane past Coudersport.

Justin Mishic had an assist for the Wolves, while Owen Hillard had four stops in net.

BROCKWAY 6, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Six different Brockway players scored in a 6-0 win over Elk County Catholic.

Marcus Bennett, Nolan Swanson, Jared Marchiori, Dylan Antonuccio Dylan Bash and Joe Hertle all found the back of the net for the Rovers. Bennett had two assists and Swanson, Marchiori and Johnny Knox had one each.

            

Jacob Maze had the clean sheet in net.

PORT ALLEGANY 6, NORTHERN POTTER 1

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – River Cramer scored a pair of goals to help Port Allegany to a 6-1 win over Northern Potter.

Kaleb Green, Aidan Emerick, Ty Guilds and Alex Kiser scored one goal apiece for the Gators. Green and Noah Yeager notched two assists, while Henry Kisler had one helper.

Guilds and Aidan Clark combined for five saves.

                          

Wyatt Bliss scored for Northern Potter, which also got 15 stops from keeper Malachi Lewis.

BROOKVILLE 10, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 0

DuBOIS, Pa. — Garner McMaster scored four goals and assisted on two others to lead Brookville to a 10-0 win at DuBois Central Catholic.

Steven Plyler scored three goals with two assists, Logan Oakes had two goals and two assists, and Brad Fiscus finished with a goal and an assist. Ryker Selnekovic added an assist.

HICKORY 3, MERCER 0

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Tyler Mele scored a pair of goals as Hickory blanked Mercer.

Lukas Jones had the other goal for the Hornets, while Logan Gordon tallied two assists.

HICKORY 2, GROVE CITY 1, 2-OT

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Anna Rodenbaugh scored in the second overtime to lift Hickory to a 2-1 win over Grove City.

                        

WARREN 10, OIL CITY 1

OIL CITY, Pa. – Lennon Dailey scored four goals as Warren beat Oil City, 10-1.

Georgie Bickling netted three goals for the Dragons while Lauren Anderson had two and Eliza Brook the other.

Bickling had four assists, Audrey Smith three and Ella Ordiway and Brook one each.

REDBANK VALLEY 1, CURWENSVILLE 1

         

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Redbank Valley and Curwensville battled to a 1-1 draw.

Quinn Fricko tied the game for Redbank Valley in the second half on a penalty kick.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2, BROCKWAY 1

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Seanna VanAltine and Caitlyn Vollmer both scored to lift ECC to a 2-1 win over Brockway.

Bailey Allison scored for Brockway on an assist from Amanda Decker.

CLEARFIELD 9, PHILIPSBURG-OSCEOLA 0

HYDE, Pa. – Elle Smith scored three goals and Emma Hipps two as Clearfield blanked P-O.

Riley Ryen, Alayna Winters, Taylor Hudson and Abby Ryan also scored for Clearfield. Ryen had two assists and Kaylie Brown, Winters and McKenna Lanager one each.

Allison Shipley and Jaylee Gill combined on the shutout in net.

WILMINGTON 1, MERCER 0

MERCER, Pa. – Lindsey Martineau scored the lone goal of the game as Wilmington beat Mercer.

FORT LEBOEUF 13, CORRY 0

CORRY, Pa. – Maggie Morrison scored four goals and Elise Cacchione and Ashley Froess three each as Fort LeBoeuf blanked Corry.

Mackenzie Huston had two goals and Lorelei Hiltabidel had the other marker for the Bison.

Morrison had three assists, Jocelyn Hoover and Savannah Jones two each and Froess, Hiltabidel and Mackenzie Huston one apiece.

SENECA 2, EISENHOWER 0

RUSSELL, Pa. – Kendall Joint scored both of Seneca’s goals in a 2-0 win over Eisenhower.

Rorri Mueller and Victoria Carney combined on the shutout in net.

VILLA MARIA 3, MERCYHURST PREP 0

ERIE, Pa. – Three different Villa players scored in a 3-0 win over Mercyhurst Prep.

Olivia Dixon, Callie Cacchione and Ella Raimondi all scored for the Victors.

NORTH EAST 6, TITUSVILLE 0

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Elizabeth Svetz scored three goals as North East blanked Titusville.

Emily Boyd, Chloe Nagle and Evelyn Bish also scored for North East.
