PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Port Allegany rushed for 268 yards on the ground and got four touchdowns from Blaine Moses en route to a 40-7 win over Brockway.

Moses scored on three runs of one yard and also on an 8-yard run.

The Port Allegany defense swarmed Brayden Fox and the Brockway offense, limiting them to just 171 total yards and just 102 through the air, with Peyton Stiles notching an interception return for a touchdown.

The Gators (4-1) raced out to a 26-7 halftime lead as Drew Evans also threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Nick Wilfong.

Evans was 7-of-9 through the air for 62 yards and also added 51 yards on the ground, while Noah Archer carried 15 times for 64 yards. Moses was the leading ground gainer with 152 yards on 29 carries.

Jendy Cuello had 64 yards rushing for Brockway (2-3), including a 3-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Gavin Burgess led the Port Allegany defensive effort with 6.5 tackles, including one for loss.

BUCKTAIL 42, SHEFFIELD 22
SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Braylon Fantaski scored all six touchdowns as Bucktail picked up its second win of the season, 42-22, at Sheffield.

Fantaski scored on an 81-yard reception in the first quarter, 22 and 2-yard runs in the second quarter, four and 39-yard receptions in the third quarter, and a 71-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Rewatch the game:

The Bucks (2-2) led 20-0 at the half and were up 34-0 before Sheffield (0-4) got on the board in the third quarter.

The Wolverines, who forced four total turnovers in the game, took advantage of a muffed punt and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to get a 1st and goal from the Bucktail 4-yard-line. Jeremiah Richardson ran it in for the first Sheffield score of the game.

The teams needed just 15 seconds to trade touchdowns midway through the fourth quarter.

Gage Mott-Macalush took a swing pass in the left flat and went 72 yards to paydirt. On the next play from scrimmage, Fantaski took a handoff off right tackle and raced 71 yards to the end zone.

Mason Silvis had a 36-yard touchdown reception with just under a minute to play in the game that ended the scoring.

Fantaski finished with 315 total yards, 124 rushing, 155 receiving, and 36 passing, to go along with his six touchdowns.
