ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 3, RIDGWAY 1

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Using a balanced offensive effort Elk County Catholic took to the road and picked up a 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18) win over Ridgway.

Gabby Weisner led the Lady Crusaders with 10 kills and an ace, Brooke Bauer added eight kills, four blocks and an ace, Julia Aikens chipped in seven kills and four aces, Maddie Marzzulo had six kills and two blocks and Haley Baron contributed four kills. Moira Stanisch made the balance happen with 29 set assists while adding five aces, and Tami Geci led the defense with 17 digs.

           

CAMERON COUNTY 3, COUDERSPORT 2

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Morgan Lorenzo had 10 kills, nine digs and a block tp help Cameron County to an exciting 3-2 (25-13, 15-25, 25-21, 21-25, 15-13) win at Coudersport.

Mallory McKimm added five kills and three blocks for the Lady Raiders with Reggie Goodrow running the offense with 27 set assists.

Sarah Atherholt had 10 kills, 10 blocks and four digs for Coudersport. Ava Wahlers chipped in seven kills, five blocks and three digs, Praylan Perkins had 19 digs and seven aces and Makenzie Gentzyel added 34 digs.

FORT LEBOEUF 3, MCDOWELL 0

ERIE, Pa. – Twelve Lauren Dahn kills and 16 Jordan Popowski digs helped visiting Fort LeBoeuf secure a 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-23) win over McDowell.

Anna Bayer chipped in six kills and eight digs for the Bison with Kerringten Wasiulewski (20 set assists) and Mackenzie Kulik (7 set assists) running the offense.

SHEFFIELD 3, NORTH CLARION 1

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Annabel Sheldon had 12 kills and six digs to help Sheffield beat visiting North Clarion, 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-22).

Emily Leichtenberger added 11 kills and Kassidy Orinko 10 for the Wolverines, while Kadence Steffan ran the offense with 31 set assists.

Emily Aites had six kills for North Clarion, Alan Brooks 21 digs and Sarah Aaron 18 set assists.

SAEGERTOWN 3, CAMBRIDGE SPRING 0

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Relying on a balanced offensive effort, Saegertown knocked off visiting Cambridge Springs, 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-17).

Mollie Pryzbrowski and Brittnay Houck each had six kills to lead the Panthers with Kami Fuller adding five kills and Averie Braymer three. Houck also had 12 digs, Pryzbrowski nine and Amber Costello 10. Ava Jones ran the show with 22 set assists while chipping in seven digs and four aces.

WARREN 3, OIL CITY 0

OIL CITY, Pa. – Jordan Sitler had 13 kills and three aces and Hannah Shattuck chipped in nine kills to pace a 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-19) win by visiting Warren over Oil City.

Olivia English had a nice all-around match with five digs and four aces, Katie Madigan added 11 digs, seven aces and four set assists and Halee Mineweaser ran the offense with 21 set assists. Meredith Morrison contributed four aces from the serving line.

Kaya Skinner had four kills for Oil City.

ROCKY GROVE 3, EISENHOWER 0

SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. – Behind six kills, two aces and a block from Kennedi Winslow, Rocky Grove took care of visiting Eisenhower, 3-0 (25-12, 25-9, 26-24).

Abby Wiliams added five aces and two kills for the Orioles while Quinlynn Keith chipped in three kills and two blocks.

Rayna Hultman had 12 digs, nine set assists and three kills for Eisenhower with Emilie Jones adding six kills and three digs.

COCHRANTON 3, YOUNGSVILLE 0

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Visiting Cochranton beat Youngsville, 3-0 (25-14, 25-7, 25-17).

Jena Wilson had seven digs and 12 set assists for Youngsville.

Cochranton stats were not available.

REDBANK VALLEY 3, PUNXSUTAWNEY 1

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Alvia Huffman had a monster game with 23 kills thanks in part to 50 set assists from Brooke Holben, as visiting Redbank Valley beat Punxsutawney 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-13, 26-24).

Montana Hetrick also had a nice night offensively with 13 kills, and Brianna Minich added eight kills and three blocks. Caylen and Brynn Rearick combined for 22 digs and three aces.

Katelyn Griebel led Punxsutawney with 12 kills, 13 digs and three aces. Elliott Ferrent added 13 digs and Danielle Griebel had 31 set assists.

A-C VALLEY 3, KARNS CITY 0

FOXBURG, Pa. – Andrea Meal, Mia Sherman and Meah Ielase combined for 25 kills to help A-C Valley sweep past visiting Karns City, 3-0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-16).

Meals led the Lady Falcons with 10 kills, Sherman added nine and Ielase six. Meals also had 12 digs, Sherman seven digs and four aces and Ielase eight digs and two aces.

Rachel Cullen ran the A-C Valley offense with 19 set assists and contributed four digs and three aces as well, and Tarra Stefanacci also had 12 digs and six set assists.

Ashley Fox had five kills, 11 digs and an ace for Karns City with Shavon McCanna adding six digs, Amber Mauer five digs and an ace, Emma Johns four aces, three set assists, two digs and a kill and Rosalie Carden five set assists, a kill and a dig.

HICKORY 3, GREENVILLE 2

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Paige Griffith helped visiting Hickory rally for a 3-2 win at Greenville.

Griffith recorded 16 kills for the Hornets and was one of five Hickory players to record double-digit kills. Adalyn Duncan, Aniyah Anderson and Raeley Gargano each had 12 kills with Chloe Kovac recording 10 kills. Rachel Wiesen (23 digs) and Kelsey Gargano (20 digs) paced the Hornets defense with Giano Caputo running the offense with 20 set assists.

GALETON 3, NORTHERN POTTER 0

GALETON, Pa. – Alli Macensky had 10 kills, three digs and a block to help Galeton sweep past visiting Northern Potter, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-6).

Olivia Rohrbaugh added nine kills, seven digs, four aces and two set assists for the Lady Tigers with Alexis Johnson recording eight kills. Tressa Succowich had 15 digs, Makenna Shuemaker added 13 digs, Lauren Sauley also had 13 digs to go with four set assists and six aces and Mikayla Scott added 12 digs.

Courtney Martin had seven kills for Northern Potter.

VILLA MARIA 3, ERIE HIGH 1

ERIE, Pa. – Kasey Smith recorded 11 kills to help visiting Villa Maria defeat Erie High, 3-1.

Karle Berchtold added five kills and five blocks with Willa Regal running the offense with 12 set assists.

DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 3, BROOKVILLE 0

DUBOIS, Pa. – Strong serving helped DuBois Central Catholic down visiting Brookville, 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-20).

Savanah Morelli and Maddie Hoyt each had five aces for the Lady Cardinals with each player also recording 12 digs. Sophia Gunther had a team-best five kills, and Faith Jacob added four blocks.

OSWAYO VALLEY 3, PORT ALLEGANY 0

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Jadyn Brabham had 10 kills, six digs, four aces and a block to pace a 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-9) Oswayo Valley win over visiting Port Allegany.

Macy West also was strong for the Green Wave with six kills and three aces, Johanna Dickerson ran the offense with 16 set assists and added three kills, two blocks, five aces and seven digs and Trinity Lundy had 19 digs, two aces and a kill.

Tori Tanner had seven digs and three aces for Port Allegany with Shannon Curfman adding two kills, two blocks and two aces.

JOHNSONBURG 3, KANE 2

KANE, Pa. – Johnsonburg outlasted Kane for a hard-fought 3-2 (18-25, 27-25, 25-18, 18-25, 15-8) road win.

Audri Marconi led Kane with 10 kills, 18 digs and two aces, Ronnie Costanzo had 20 set assists, 13 digs, an ace and a kill, Sarri Swanson chipped in five kills, four blocks and an ace, Rainee Wright had four kills, three digs and four blocks, Emma Ely contributed to the defense with 17 digs and Kelsie Alexander had eight digs.

KEYSTONE 3, FOREST AREA 0

KNOX, Pa. – Jozee Weaver and Sydney Bell combined for 12 kills to help Keystone to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-21) win over visiting Forest Area.

Each had six kills in the win, while Alyssa Weaver added 12 set assists, six digs and four aces, Jozee Weaver also had four aces as dd Alexandria Johnston.

Jessica Wagner had a block and two aces for Forest Area.

SMETHPORT 3, AUSTIN 0

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Danielle Nelson had eight kills, an ace, a set assist and a dig to help Smethport beat visiting Austin, 3-0 (25-18, 30-28, 25-23).

Baylee Fitzsimmons chipped in 15 digs and nine aces and Chloe Costa had nine digs, five aces and three kills.

CRANBERRY 3, VENANGO CATHOLIC 0

OIL CITY, Pa. – Cranberry swept Venango Catholic, 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-19), to pick up a road win.

Cheyanne Rudder had eight digs and three aces for VC, while Meadow Hartle added three kills and five set assists and Sadie Kalamajka three kills and two blocks.

Cranberry stats weren’t available.

DUBOIS 3, BROCKWAY 0

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Visiting DuBois picked up a 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-18) win over Brockway.

Ciara Morelli led Brockway with 11 service points.

ST. MARYS 3, BRADFORD 1

BRADFORD, Pa. – St. Marys went on the road and beat Bradford, 3-1 (25-21, 25-14, 15-25, 25-21).

Meghan McConnell led the Lady Dutch with nine kills and 27 digs with Kylie Schutz adding 26 digs.

Alix Ordiway led Bradford with nine kills, Lydia Sarnoski added four kills and two blocks and Emma Swanson had four kills.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 3, UNION 1

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Rubby Smith had eight kills, six aces and four blocks to lift visiting Clarion-Limestone to a 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22) win over Union.

Emma Smith chipped in six kills for the Lady Lions, while Brooke Kessler added five aces. Janelle Pezzuti and Abby Himes each had 13 digs, and Kendall Dunn ran the offense with 18 set assists.

Dominika Logue led Union with 11 kills and three aces, Hailey Kriebel added nine kills and four aces and Morgan Cumberland had 26 set assists.

CORRY 3, SENECA 0

ERIE, Pa. – Rachel Bady had 13 kills to lead visiting Corry to a 3-0 win over Seneca.
